Promoting Barcelona to Dutch business people

The Netherlands Commercial Office has released a publication featuring the success stories of entrepreneurs from this region that have set up in Barcelona in order to promote the Catalan capital as a good place to invest or start a business.

"Opportunities in recession, doing business in Barcelona" features 42 interviews with Dutch business people and entrepreneurs that have set up in Barcelona, with the aim of showcasing the city as a good environment for developing business thanks to the resources found here, opportunities and services offered, as well as the similarities between Catalan and Dutch business cultures.

The book, published in Dutch and translated into English, will be presented today at Barcelona Activa's GlÚries Business Incubator, with the presence of the Deputy Mayor for Economy, Business and Employment, SÚnia Recasens, and the honorary Consul of the Netherlands in Barcelona, Mr. Dirk Kremer.

This initiative is being promoted with a video produced in collaboration with Barcelona Activa and entitled 'Kansa in crisis, business in Barcelona', published on Holland's official YouTube channels and other social networks.

This campaign forms part of the work of Barcelona City Council's Department for Economy, Business and Employment with the objective of boosting and promoting the existing international business network set up in Barcelona and attracting new international investors to Barcelona.
