Launch of 'Grow in Barcelona', an incubation program for entrepreneurs from around the world

Five business projects will install themselves in the Almogāvers Business Factory incubator for six months and will have access to private financing.

"Grow in Barcelona" is an initiative led by ESADE AlumniNauta Capital and Barcelona City Council, through Barcelona Activa, which has been set up to encourage the creation of companies in the city and attract international entrepreneurial talent. The program is part of the Barcelona Growth initiative for economic recovery.

This incubation programme will back up the consolidation and promotion of five innovative business projects with high growth potential. The aim is to accelerate their consolidation process and maximise their prospects of success.

The five selected projects among those to be presented before 30th September will be installed at the end of the year in the Almogāvers Business Factory, located in 22@ Barcelona, the city's innovation district, initially for a period of 6 months, extendable for up to another 6 months depending on the fulfilment of the business plan.

In this respect, ESADE Alumni will support the selected projects throughout the incubation process and will help them to access the ESADE BAN network of private investors. In addition, Nauta Capital will monitor the projects and the municipal agency will offer advice and consultancy services.
