King launches new video game created entirely in Barcelona

The company, creator of the popular 'Candy Crush Saga' and 'Far Heroes Saga', has recently launched 'Bubble Witch Saga 2'.

This month the world's top online game development company King is to launch new the 'Bubble Witch Saga 2' game developed entirely at its Catalan headquarters.

The new video game, available for Facebook and mobile, is a revamped version of the company's first 'Bubble Witch Saga' hit, released in September 2011, in which a good witch tries to free her friends. This latest version has a new feature with the ability to synchronize game progress with Facebook. The company expects the game to be a hit with record downloads, maintaining its leadership in interactive entertainment for mobiles.

King, founded in 2003 and based in London, currently has a range of over 180 games, most notably 'Pet Rescue Saga', 'Candy Crush Saga' and 'Saga Heroes Farm'. The company's success is related to the games' availability on Facebook and smpartphones, not to mention the quality of their products.

In 2012, the company opened its first office in Spain in the city of Barcelona, in a 3,000-square-metre office which currently employs more than 200 people. Last year King was recognized as the best company to work for in Spain.
