Booking.com to open in Barcelona and provide employment for 250 workers

The Dutch multinational tourism agency will open its fifth international centre in Barcelona. This initiative will result in the creation of 250 jobs.

Barcelona is already one of Booking.com's international expansion points. Since 2004 it has had a subsidiary established in Barcelona, which has been growing with offices in several points around Spain and around one hundred employees. This latest opening will be its fifth international centre, after Amsterdam, Berlin, Lille and Cambridge.

Booking.com will occupy a 3,000-square-metre space in Barcelona's district 22@ area. The staff will increase by 250%, which will provide a 24-hour-service. It is expected that the multinational company will open its new centre this April.
